Fancy trying a board game classic without having to decipher the rulebook first?
Ra is a wonderfully clever auction game from legendary designer Reiner Knizia. Set in Ancient Egypt, you’ll be collecting monuments, building dynasties, avoiding disasters and trying to make the most of the Nile – but the real fun comes from deciding when to bid and when to sit tight.
Auctions are quick, turns move at a cracking pace and there are plenty of moments where you’ll be desperately hoping somebody else bids so you don’t have to. And, of course, there’s always the temptation to invoke RA! at exactly the wrong moment.
We’ll teach the game from scratch and guide you through as you play, so no previous experience and absolutely no homework is required.
