"I first visited Outside the Box to keep my brother company but now I go there most weeks, with or without him! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and Helen and Rachel are really friendly and helpful. There is a huge choice of games available but I prefer the events, you dont need to know the rules as they will always be explained patiently to you and I have made new friends along the way. It isnt just a board game cafe it is a real community where everyone is made welcome".

OTB is a friendly get away for me and my family - sometimes with the kids, sometimes without, always an amazing time. My daddy daycare Wednesdays are now even more special as I can bring the baby down & know there will be a sea of smiling faces for him to enjoy & smile back. As a bonus, the snacks & drinks are delicious & the vegan provision is excellent! "

"Well …I saw the Speed Gaming event on Facebook and decided to venture out. I was not disappointed & met some lovely people who put me completely at ease. We played 5 different games and I even won at one. The loveliest people in the loveliest atmosphere and such fun. Go on your own as I did or take a friend. The cafe and drinks menu are fab and the hosts just the kindest most genuine people you could ever hope to meet. A thoroughly enjoyable sociable evening thank you!"
