ABOUT THE EVENT
This evening is perfect for experienced players of Root or Hegemony, but beginners will be welcomed and supported by the table host. We simply ask that beginners watch a video first (since the games are assymetric and so have a different set of rules per role).
Root (medium-heavy complexity - age 14+)
Root is a highly asymmetric war and area-control board game where 2 to 4 players (expandable up to 6 with expansions) battle for dominance over a magical forest. Each player controls a unique faction with entirely different abilities, playstyles, and win conditions.
We will be playing with expansions this evening - one game with Underworld and one game with Homeland. Once you've purchased your ticket, we'll message you in advance to agree your faction for the evening.
