ABOUT THE EVENT
Mahjong is a beautiful tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. It is played by four players with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols.
This session is for players who already know how to play British-rules tabletop Mahjong. Other players will help you to improve your game, but will not be expected to teach it from scratch. If you are a beginner, please book on one of our beginners sessions or email games@outsidetheboxltd.co.uk to arrange a private lesson.
Come on your own, or with a friend, and we will get you involved in a game. We are now fully licenced, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer while you play.
